Dickie Kitchen Highly Commended 2007 NKBA Kitchen Design of the Year Client Brief The clients requested a modern kitchen, however, it had to suit the classic style of their large traditional family home. They didn't want to change existing walls or move any windows, and it had to work around the chimney and large existing scotia that is a feature of the home. There was also a set of small doors above bench height that give serving access though to the formal dining room. The clients required 2 large sinks, large bins, 2 ovens and wine storage. This is a family home so plenty of storage, bench space, refrigeration and seating for family and friends was required.
